Saskatoon berries are starting to ripen at lower elevations. Bears will be drawn to valley bottoms near residential areas to feed on berries. A bear can eat up to 100 000 berries in a day. Let’s work together to keep our bears wild and our community safe by locking up garbage and other attractants and giving bears a chance to feed on berries, a great natural food source.
